How are you doing?
Wow what a week I have had! It was half term so took my kids to watch Batman the Lego Movie...one word...awesome
What was also awesome was the time we had jumping up and down on the trampoline at Jump Nation in Runcorn :)
To crown it off today I only went to visit pupils of Malvern Primary School Liverpool
Record breakers! I was told my hands will ache after signing so many copies of The Bee Hive. Guess what? They were right
80 copies is no joke!!!
Thank you all for supporting me so much. What have I done to deserve all this love? Don't answer, just keep on loving
me x
Next stop - author visit Woolton Primary School Liverpool a week from today and I cant wait

The Bee Hive at Malvern Primary School Liverpool...
Evening All
How's it going?
For those on half term with the kids how has it been?
Mine has been fab! My kids and I have been swimming and then they had the 'popular' non gadget Tuesday. They all succeeded in going the whole day without playing on any gadget whatsoever.
They got a lovely glass of hot chocolates filled with marshmallows :)
Regards my book well I spent the day calling local bookshops and seeing if they would stock our book and I'm happy to say the outcome was very positive
I got an email from a bookshop that has already ordered the book today! wow
Progress and thanks to you all very much so.
My third boo is going well and I'm into the 30,000 word and nearly finished. The job is not complete by a long shot as I still have to edit it and cross all the dots etc but I'm proud so far.
Okay so I'm off to do some typing please keep tabs on my twitter account @simonadepetun and @thebeehivenovel too

Liverpool Fever
Hi Everyone
How have you all been and how's the week gone and of course the weekend?
My week was busy at work and at home. My 10 year old son had a coupe of trips with scouts and school and he proudly achieved his scout silver award #proudmoment # prouddad
Anyway I can see the finish line with my third novel and I must say I'm very happy how it is progressing. Its hard work when you are a full time manager married with 3 kids under 13 but if you love to write then you always find time TO write
I am looking forward to my author visits to 2 schools in Liverpool Malvern primary school and woolton primary school
I cant wait. I love working with kids and my years as a school Teacher, well priceless

Remember as a writer its not just about what you write but how you write it

Evening All
So chuffed I have my first two author visits of the year both in the wonderful city of Liverpool
I'm actually visiting one of the schools on World Book Week lucky lucky Malvern Primary School and Woolton Primary School.

Also 25,000 words now achieved on my third novel and I can tell you the finishing line of the book is almost upon me
I cant wait to see the end!

Hi Everyone
Evening so how have you all been?
I have been busy, obviously
So yesterday I completed 23,000 words on my third book. The second book has been sent to my publisher but I'm just awaiting a few things and hopefully action on the second book can begin... its a cracker trust me!
Guess what? I have been invited to a local school to be a guest on world book day. How about that then. Cool I know
I have also set up a twitter account for my book so yes I do follow your good advise

Evening All
How are we doing?
So yesterday I gave out leaflets about my book to parents at the local guides that my daughter, the book's illustrator goes to.
It only happens that I handed a leaflet to a very nice lady who only happened to be a Teacher at a school in Liverpool
The next day, just like magic, I get an email from the school wondering if I would like to visit the school to mark World Book Day
I was like yesssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!
So that is how my second author visit for 2017 is on. Don't forget last I had 11 in total so this is encouraging news
Also encouraging news is the fact that I contacted a few local bookshops and they are all only interested in stocking copies of The Bee Hiveeeeeeeeeeee
What about that then folks?
My publisher got my daughter and I to do a short video of us reading from the book for National Story Telling week
I sent that the other day so please have a look and let me know your thoughts on that
Lastly as you know I have sent my second novel to the publishers, you will so love this just as much as the bee hive. So on my third novel I have hit over 20,000 words
